Playing With My Handheld

No, this is not that kind of post. Get your minds out of the gutters because that’s not what I’m writing about. (I’m not denying its truth. It’s just not what I’m writing about. 😉 )

I’ve had another cold (They spread like crazy in the place where I work!) so I’ve been pretty much down for the past couple days. Good and bad thing that it was my weekend. Also on the good side is the fact that I finally got a new handheld system, the Nintendo 3DS. Yes, I’m way behind the times on this. The last one I bought was the Gameboy Advance so I was due for a new one. I know the PS Vita is the big one right now but I’ll wait til they get a better range of games for it. So, I’ve been relaxing and playing with my 3DS. I got 3 games for it — Pokemon White (gotta get a Pokemon game of course), Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini Land Mayhem (just cuz it looked interesting), and the new Kid Icarus game. I figure this should give me something to do with free time. Not that I didn’t have enough games on my cell phone. I’m liking it so far. It’s nice being able to use the stylus for some things as well as the online interaction the Pokemon game has. I’m looking forward to really checking the system out.

Since I wasn’t feeling well, part of the time was just vegging out and watching TV. I caught the most recent episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race which was the “turn the straight guy into a drag queen” episode. This season, the guys were fathers so the challenge was two part — strip tease followed by baby bump realness with both of them pregnant. One of the guys was exceptionally cute, James.

He could be my daddy any time. Obviously (and sadly), the beard had to go for the drag. I wonder what he looked like clean shaven. I’d probably prefer him with the beard anyway. He did turn into quite an attractive female though.

The contestants did a lot better on this group of guys than they did last season.

Well, I’m off to get some rest. I’ll try to get to my comic review later and try catching up on stuff.
